    I'm upset for the jazz music... Really shocking , for me it was an uncridible guitarist. His sound was very original (syntaxe, baritone guitar). Very sad for the jazz melomaniac. Allan is in music heaven with the better guitarist in 20th and early 21th century. RIP

    No one even close to him, it will be another fifty years before
    he can even begin to be appreciated, just way too ahead of his time. The best guitar player ever, his language just too complicated for most. He never compromised his art/talent a True genius, RIP in peace, Allan Holdsworth.

    His passing came at a time when I was very, very ill and numb to the world. But hearing about this just carved out a deep void in my soul. A musical genius -- truly missed . . .
